List news feed items

GET /v1/news

Returns lightweight news records over the news dataset, with optional filtering by symbol, scrip code, sentiment, and time window.

When to use it

Use this endpoint for research feeds, portfolio news panels, company-aware agents, and watchlist monitors. For near-live delivery, see WebSocket news streams.

Authentication and billing

  • Requires X-API-Key or api_key.
  • Credit cost: 1 credit / page. Bills 1 credit per page when results are returned. Empty pages are not charged.
  • See pricing for plan allowances and full billing details.

Request

This endpoint does not require a request body.

sentimentqueryNoOptional sentiment filter. Allowed values: positive, negative, neutral.
fromqueryNoOptional ISO date or datetime lower bound. The lower bound is inclusive.
toqueryNoOptional ISO date or datetime upper bound. The upper bound is inclusive.
pagequeryNoPage number. Defaults to 1.
limitqueryNoPage size. The default is route-specific and is usually 20 or 50.
api_keyqueryNoOptional alternative to the X-API-Key header. Prefer the header for server-side applications.

Response

Returns data as an array of news items and has_next for pagination. Items include title, summary, company, symbol, sentiment, source, link, scrip code, and date when available. date is the article publish time.
